Round up

Recently I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Beignet's On the Corner in Peoria and shared a very tasty portabella appetizer at Basta O'Neills in Washington.
I also made it to The Spotted Cow in Peoria for lunch. I swear they have the best Italian beef meat I've ever found in the area, and I also had the bonus of trying their delectable pumpkin ice cream for the first time. I had a hard time choosing between that flavor and the one with sweet corn in it.

Agreed on the beef at the Cow. IMHO they also have the best corned beef and cabbage in town. Good spot to go if you want to avoid the huge crowds on St. Patty's Day.

Thanks for that idea! I love good corned beef and cabbage and wouldn't have thought of the Spotted Cow.

Khaki Jack's also has good corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's day. They also serve it the night before for those who don't want the hassle of the crowds on St. Patty's day.

That's right, my mom and dad have gone to Khaki's for cbnc for St. Pats. Darn, now I almost wish March wasn't so far away!

I tried the Corn on the Cowb ice cream and it was delicious. I also really like the lemon and basil sorbet they sometimes have. This summer I kept going back for cantaloupe ice cream
