A karaoke bar named Pitch will open at 631 Main Street in Peoria next month.

Mother's Day is rapidly nearing. I'll be on the prowl for a gift from a great local shop and am trying to think of someplace we can sneak in for breakfast without all the chaos or portable brunch items to take over to Mom's. As much as I would like it, I don't think a Cracked Pepper bacon log will work!

Pitch has the potential to make a killing money-wise. Even in its formerly incomplete state, missing speaker components, etc, they still had the best sound system in the area when they had trained sound personnel running it. The Peoria Push Roller Derby Dames doing karaoke made for great entertainment before the ownership change. The old bathrooms were truly revolting so hopefully that got fixed. That place was originally a tiny movie theater. Does anybody know its history?
